Week 9 vocabulary


Week 9 vocabulary
Instantaneous: Occurring or done instantly. "modern methods of instantaneous communication"
Commandment- A divine rule, especially one of the Ten Commandments. 
Mutineer- A person, especially a soldier or sailor, who rebels or refuses to obey the orders of a person in authority.
Violation: The action of violating someone or something. 
Sympathize -Agree with a sentiment, opinion, or ideology.
Desist: Stop doing something; cease or abstain. 
Conspiring- Make secret plans jointly to commit an unlawful or harmful act.
Asylum: The protection granted by a state to someone who has left their home country as a political refugee. 
Sluicing- Wash or rinse freely with a stream or shower of water.
Humiliation: The action of humiliating someone or the state of being humiliated. "they suffered the humiliation of losing in the opening round"
Exertion: Physical or mental effort. "she was panting with the exertion" 
 Odyssey- An extended adventurous voyage or trip.
Euphoria: a feeling or state of intense excitement and happiness. "in his euphoria, he had become convinced he could defeat them"
