Ernest Rutherford

Hey Guys
Welcome back to another blog post, and today I will be telling you a little bit about Ernest Rutherford. Rutherford was a New Zealand–born British physicist who came to be known as the father of nuclear physics. Encyclopedia Britannica considers him to be the greatest experimentalist since Michael Faraday. Ernest Rutherford postulated the nuclear structure of the atom, discovered alpha and beta rays, and proposed the laws of radioactive decay. He received the Nobel Prize in Chemistry in 1908. I also made a poster on what he did in his lifetime. I hope you enjoy.

Magic Square

Magic squares are A square grid of numbers in which the numbers in each row, column and diagonal add up the same number is often called a magic square. The sum of the numbers in each row, column and diagonal is called the magic number. We have learned all about these this week and we have learned multiple ways to solve them quickly. In the DLO below you will see some of the magic squares I solved.
